Question 1

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

Accepted Answer

Most full kitchens run several weeks on site once the materials are in, and a bigger layout change takes longer. Whole-house jobs run longer still. Ask us up front. Before we start you get a dated schedule, and the crew works from that same schedule.

Question 2

Can I stay in the house?

Accepted Answer

For a kitchen or bath, almost always. We seal off the work area, protect the floors and keep a path through the house. Many families set up a coffee pot and microwave in another room. For whole-house work we talk it through first.

Question 3

Can you open up a small closed kitchen?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it is one of our most common jobs. Older Fort Worth houses often have a wall between kitchen and dining room. We check what the wall holds up first, then take it out safely and finish the ceiling and floor so it looks like it was always open.

Question 4

Do you deal with old plumbing and wiring?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Houses from the 1920s through the 1950s often have old pipes and thin wiring behind the walls. We find it when the walls open and fix it as part of the job, so the new kitchen is not sitting on tired guts.

Question 5

What areas do you work in?

Accepted Answer

Riverside, Oakhurst, Haltom City, North Richland Hills, Downtown Fort Worth, Arlington Heights and Ridglea. If you are nearby and planning a full kitchen, bath or bigger, call the shop and ask. We will tell you straight whether the job fits.

Question 6

How do estimates work?

Accepted Answer

Call or send the form. We come out, measure and talk through what you want. A written scope with a price on each line follows. The visit costs nothing, and nobody pushes you to sign that day.
